Cutting through complexity

KPMG is a global network of professional firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services with over 140,000 employees in 146 countries worldwide. As the KPMG Europe LLP group grows they are exploring new ways to use their skills and capabilities to help their clients cut through complex challenges. In our second year working with KPMG, we helped them communicate an overarching theme of “Cutting through complexity” with an ‘online first’ Annual Report. This was also delivered in traditional print form and as a template for the 16 European countries in which they operate.

We created a corporate film that focused the online experience around how KPMG can cut through the complexity of the issues that their clients face. It acts as a visual synopsis of the business; an exclusive guided tour documenting twenty four hours in the life of the firm. The film is a departure from the standard corporate experience and tells the KPMG story in a cinematic style, blending atmospheric stop animation with information graphics and an authoritative audio narrative.

The online version was designed to work on all modern devices, from the Blackberry to the iPad, to reflect the ‘on the move’ nature of the KPMG audiences and helped develop the online guidelines for KPMG’s new branding.

The online reporting suite continued the focus around how KPMG can respond to the demands of an increasingly complex and globalised world by showcasing client stories across sectors and specialisms.
