Working within our busy design and artwork studio based in-house within Freshfields, you will work closely with the Design and Account teams to direct and deliver design projects across print and digital brand communications, to the highest standards, on brief, on time and on brand.

Main duties of role:

Creative concept design and design development. This includes: development of design concepts, implementation of detailed design, and liaising with Creative Artworkers on final production to delivery

Typical projects may include: high-profile pitch presentations, annual guides, events collateral, internal communications and thought leadership

Ensure the creative product complies with guidelines, is delivered on brief, on time, and to the highest production levels

Understand the key elements of digital and web design

Develop an understanding of Freshfields stakeholders to build strong relationships and to make sound and valuable creative recommendations
-
Work closely with the Account Management team to present clear and firm recommendations to Freshfields stakeholders and be persuasive in creative presentations

Take a pragmatic view to ensure final results are fit-for-purpose and meet deadlines as well as creative standards

Work efficiently according to time and resource allocation as directed by the Design/Account Director

Complete and submit timesheets on a daily basis

Relevant Experience:
-
Graphic design graduate (or equivalent) with around 4-5 years’ experience in corporate brand identity and communications across all print and digital media within a reputable consultancy

Excellent and proven creative skills across print, digital, moving image and interactive design

Excellent typography and layout skills
-
In-depth knowledge of brand guidelines and brand implementation

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy – in everything

Fresh ideas, always strategically rooted, intelligent and well-thought-through

Experienced at implementing creative solutions across all media and overseeing artwork production

Ability to storyboard presentations and present to clients

Knowledge of information and content design including infographics, formats, templates and illustration

An experienced user of Adobe Creative Suite

Working knowledge of MS Office packages and a willingness to use these as a core element of the design process

Ability to create digital assets in Photoshop
-
Experience of contemporary digital and interactive design and the ability to design responsive digital layouts
-
Competent artworking skills and the ability to produce mock-ups and presentation visuals when required
-
Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues and to facilitate communication and briefing remotely (video conference, video chat, IM, phone and email)

PC and Mac literate
