Title: Account Manager / Senior Account Manager

As Account Manager / Senior Account Manager, you’ll be an important member of our team, helping manage client relationships and the successful delivery of corporate reporting and corporate communications projects.

You’ll demonstrate excellent account management skills and will confidently manage strategic and design projects from brief through to implementation. You’ll understand the practical implications of delivering corporate comms across multiple channels – in particular print, digital and film.

Finally, as a corporate reporting specialist, you’ll also have a keen interest in business and communications more widely.

Main duties of role:

  • Supporting Account Directors on a number of client accounts
  • Developing and managing relationships with clients
  • Understanding clients’ businesses, strategies and objectives and developing the scope of our working relationships through organic growth
  • Delegating to and guiding more junior team members on their accounts
  • Managing projects from inception through to delivery and working with our consultancy, design and production teams to drive high-quality outcomes
  • Working with the design team to inspire and challenge, helping develop creative briefs and ensuring creative results always meet or exceed clients’ expectations
  • Financial management of projects, including forecasts, billing schedules, budget tracking and profitable delivery
  • Liaising with our Resourcing Manager to agree effective and collaborative allocation of resource
  • Acting as a central point of coordination, and liaising with clients and third parties (including photographers, copywriters and printers)
  • Thinking creatively to identify solutions to any client issue or challenge.

  • Professional, confident and calm under pressure
  • Hands-on, with the ability to lead multiple stakeholders and internal team members
  • Confident managing large projects with Account Directors, including client negotiation and effective forecasting
  • Able to take the lead on smaller projects with an Account Director’s support
  • Flexible and organised, with a keen eye for detail
  • Experienced in leading teams through production and implementation, and with a good understanding of process and timings
  • Comfortable liaising with senior management and more junior clients
  • A team player who’ll contribute to the success of the agency by sharing knowledge and lending a hand to others when needed
  • Experience of and an interest in sustainability.
