We opened our office in India in early 2021. Launching a new regional hub during global lockdowns was perhaps an unusual move but we couldn’t be happier with our progress in the region and the exciting opportunities that we are generating.
Thom is responsible for the overall leadership of Conran Design Group across all of our regional operations; UK, US and India. He works closely with both clients and internal teams and provides brand and communications advice at leadership level on key global accounts.
Thom works with our clients to ensure their business objectives are met through the implementation of effective brand strategy. He led the recent global rebrand of Reckitt, the launch, renaming and repositioning of Clario and a range of other client assignments across multiple business sectors.
Thom is inspired by the transformative effect that great design can have on business and society and is focused on continuing the growth and development of Conran to attract great talent, build an open, empowering and supportive culture and deliver world class brand and design work.
Managing Partner, Mumbai
Geet is responsible for the leadership of Conran Design Group’s operations in India. Her role involves working closely with clients to ensure brand and business impact.
Geet has over 19 years of marketing and brand experience across New York and Mumbai. At Conran, she led the recent rebranding of Cadilla Healthcare to Zydus and is partnering with current clients to deliver transformative results on product launches, naming and brand identity creation and packaging projects to name a few. In a previous role, Geet was a part of the brand strategy team at Indian Hotels (Taj).
Geet is inspired by the power of design to drive brand and business advantage to clients. Having worked both client and agency side, Geet understands and is inspired by Conran’s vision to deliver on both strategic consultancy as well as design led and impactful execution.
Executive Creative Director
Responsible for creative standards at Conran, Lee is passionate about solving problems through powerful, communication-driven design. He has held the role of design and creative director at many of the UK’s leading branding agencies including Brand Union, Bamber Forsyth and Fitch.
Lee has extensive experience across a broad range of design disciplines, enabling him to inspire and build a multi-disciplinary team of designers to maintain the highest levels of creativity across the agency. More recently Lee has led the creative team to deliver major rebranding programmes for clients such as Reckitt, Danone and Clario.
Lee believes that the best brands are created through a close working partnership with clients – fostering a collaborative approach that delivers authentic creative ideas that are strategically grounded, encourage participation and make a meaningful difference to people's lives.
Head of Design, Mumbai
Mayuri is responsible for spearheading the creative stewardship and shaping the creative vision for Conran Design Group, Mumbai.
Mayuri helps clients to realise strategic brand transformations through impact and relevance and has worked on brands including Abbott, Microsoft, Nestle, Nivea, Paperboat, PepsiCo, TATA and Viacom 18. She has led award-winning projects through her expertise in design strategy, creative direction, deep understanding of culture and consumer behaviour as well as contextual trend-spotting. At Conran, she led the brand transformation for Zydus.
Mayuri is inspired by tackling problems through the power of good design. A people person – she finds motivation in collaborative efforts driven by human stories.
Urja is responsible for the overall client services function at Conran Design Group, Mumbai. Besides managing key accounts, she is also actively involved in the strategy and business development function of the agency.
Urja has 12 years of experience across the different stages of brand building – naming, identity creation, packaging, retail design and stakeholder communications. Some of her key clients have included Aditya Birla, Reliance, Vodafone, ITC, Future Group, Adani, Zydus amongst others.
Urja is inspired by the value a strategic cohesive brand can add to a business. She also is a keen observer of people and culture and believes it’s the most important way for a brand to truly find its connect.
Shreya is responsible for the designing and bringing Conran Design Group Mumbai’s creative vision and design solutions for its clients to life. She works under Mayuri Nikumbh and collaboratively with the rest of the team.
A business graduate, Shreya has joined Conran Design Group Mumbai after training with Havas Creative India under the Havas Spark Program for 6 months, where she worked for clients such as Veet and Dabur. She has also previously worked for Dr Morepen, handling their social media presence.
For Shreya, being of service and adding personal contribution, be it in design, personal life or in Conran is important to her. She wants to ensure that her creativity is adding value to the world.
As a part of Mayuri's team, Rucha is responsible for ideation and execution for various client briefs as well as collaborating with other team members to ensure consistent deliveries.
Rucha has been involved in a variety of packaging, branding and UI/UX projects in the sectors like FMCG, Pharma and BFSI both in CDG and in past agency roles; from research to identity development and production.
Rucha is inspired by the impact of thoughtful design on people and communities and aims to have her work reach the same level of impact.
