With around 14 million customers, Phoenix Group is the UK’s largest long-term savings and retirement business. Recognising that their products and investments should play a vital role in creating a more sustainable future, they launched their new flagship think tank.

‘Phoenix Insights’ aims to spark debate and inspire action around a big challenge: with life expectancy rapidly rising, how to ensure that everyone can enjoy longer, better lives. We worked closely with them to design the think tank’s new identity and launch campaign.

The think tank’s ambition is to kick-start a national conversation, so we created a concept built around asking crucial ‘life-effecting’ questions. The accompanying graphic language is designed to reflect the positive ripple effect that Phoenix Insights aims to create across many areas of policy, culture and society.

To define Phoenix Insights’ strategy and explain its focus areas’ roles in reimagining longer lives, we developed an in-depth strategy document. Phoenix Insights launched to an audience of influential peers and government decision makers. We collaborated with their team to create an impressive backdrop, as well as filming the launch event. We also created a launch film setting out the think tank’s ambitions by highlighting big questions around work, housing and what the future might look like in a world where we’re all living longer.
